About Me

Hi! My name is Ashlee. I am 26 year old married mom who is just trying to find my place in life. I have created this blog to share my journey through my weight loss and workouts. I am a FIRM believer in Weight Watchers. I can honestly say it has changed my life. It has made me a better wife, a better mom, and overall a better person.
At the beginning of 2010 I set a goal of for myself to run a 5K.  Not soon after I started the C25K program.  I ran my first 5K in March 2010.  I loved every freaking minute of it.  I caught the running bug.  I am so hooked.  It has became my new passion (read about it here)  My goal is to run a 30 minute 5K someday.  Hopefully this year.  Currently my PR is about 34 minute's.
In June of 2006 at 224.6 lbs I joined WW. I lost 51.2 lbs in 7 months. I maintained my weight of 173.4 until I became pregnant in September of 2007. I had a beautiful baby girl in May 2008. After I had my daughter I weighed about 189 I have managed to get myself down to pre-baby weight and am working on getting to my goal weight (which is undecided, I am thinking 145-155).  The past 2 years have been a struggle for me and not nearly as easy as is was when I lost the first 50lbs.  The weight is coming off a lot slower, but I am enjoying this journey, I am finding new things I love, finding things out about myself and most importantly getting myself healthy!
